Currently only available for veterans and people seeking home modifications for mobility disabilities.

Major repairs for households with low to moderate incomes (income limit is $68,700 for a family of 3).

New York Foundation for Senior Citizens

Free minor repairs for carpentry, electric system, first floor gutter, masonry, plaster/ceramic, plumbing, weatherization, and winterization. Homeowners pay for materials.

Maximum income of $58,451 for a household of 1, $66,801 for a household of 2.

Free energy upgrades for residents of Cypress Hills/East New York
Offers homeowners and tenants:
energy efficiency retrofits, including insulation/weatherization of the building and installation of energy conservation measures
electrification retrofits, including upgrading electrical panel boxes/wiring and changing out gas stoves for electric induction stoves
Limited to households making 130% Area Median Income ($141,310 for a family of 1, $161,590 for a family of 2)
